These Workshops, providing information and ways forward on a number of key issues, are for VCS and Public Sector organisations. Increasingly, however, with the emergence of social enterprise, many of the workshops are suitable for wider audiences. NEWS FLASH We have secured investment funding from the Skills Fund and we are now able to offer our ground-breaking workshops at just £48 for qualifying companies. In simple terms your organisation should be in Yorkshire and the Humber, excluding South Yorkshire (Objective 1), and be trading or seriously investigating trading.

We are dedicated to enabling VCS organisations identify and realise their potential through information provision, tools and techniques and direct support. Our activities include one-to-one mentoring, direct support of individual organisations, research projects on a variety of topics and educational and motivational workshops. We have expertise in funding, VCS structures, organisational development, change management, business development and planning and communications. A current focus is helping VCS and related organisations understand and prepare for a future with limited grant funding. With a blend of experience from the private, public and voluntary sectors we offer a new and different perspective. Workshop Programme - Summer 2007Our workshop portfolio has now been extended and revised. It now comprises four core modules; forward planning (built around the successful "Which Way Now" series), understanding commissioning, selling yourself and the organisation and managing change. As usual social value add is a major thread in the workshops however, the focus has shifted to using value to earn revenue. Details of these workshops, together with a full schedule are available for download below. The application form for all the workshops is also below. The schedule is constantly being updated. Also, if you have bespoke requirements, perhaps you wish to combine materials from more than one workshop, don't hesitate to get in touch and talk to us about your specific needs. Often, bespoke workshops can be built and delivered for the same charge as the standard workshops.

Our workshops must have a core objective of increasing an organisation’s capacity and revenues. They must create opportunities for organisations. They must develop the organisation’s ability to perform through change and to emerge stronger. The workshops will develop the knowledge, awareness and capabilities of individuals. They will also improve the organisation’s ability to survive and grow. The workshops are designed to develop the organisation. In all cases these workshops increase the organisation’s ability to survive and grow by developing the capacity to secure and increase revenues.
